What are Home Depot’s Christmas hours?
Home Depot is the only major chain we cover with a published official 2026 holiday schedule, and Christmas is fully covered: closed on Christmas Day (Friday, December 25), and 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24).
That 5:00 PM Christmas Eve close is one of the earliest among big-box retailers — most competitors stay open until 6:00 or 7:00 PM. If you're picking up last-minute supplies on December 24, treat mid-afternoon as your real deadline.
Regular hours resume on Saturday, December 26 (6:00 AM – 10:00 PM Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Sunday). Store hours can still vary a bit by location, so the official store locator is the final word.
